2024 Spring TRYOUTS
Keeping You Informed One Base at a Time...
Sprague Little League Intermediates(50/70), Majors and AAA tryouts have been scheduled for the 2024 Spring Season. We would like to thank Coach Buchheit and Sprague High School for graciously providing us with a place to hold tryouts again this season.
Please note all participants need to be fully registered to attend tryouts and will only need to attend one of the two dates.
We will have two separate time slots available on both days with a SignUp Genius requirement. Here are the details, subject to change depending on the final number of participants per division.
WHAT: 50/70, Majors and AAA Tryouts
WHEN: Saturday, February 24 and
Sunday, February 25
Session One: 10:00AM – 11:30AM
Session Two: 12:00PM – 1:30PM
WHERE: Sprague High School Hitting Barn
Player candidates need to have their own equipment for tryouts (i.e., bat, batting helmet, glove, cleats or tennis shoes with good traction, comfortable clothes, athletic cup, hat, and a water bottle for hydration). If you are a catcher, you may want to bring your catcher’s gear.
Please show up 15 minutes early to provide us with the opportunity to check in your player and assign them a number. Players also need time to stretch and warm up before the actual tryout begins. We will have volunteers to assist players before and after tryouts.
Parents will not be allowed in the hitting barn and are strongly encouraged to drop their player off to minimize distraction and limit crowd size. If you leave the area, we ask that you return by the conclusion of the 90 min block of time. This is a fluid activity so please be prepared to wait in case tryouts take longer than anticipated.
For safety and eligibility purposes, parents/guardians are required to sign their players in and sign them out of tryouts.
