Spring 2025 Divisions of Play

Our Spring Baseball Program provides eight divisions of play for boys and girls ranging from 4 to 16 years of age and typically runs 10 weeks from early April through mid-June. To help you with the selection of the correct division for your Little Leaguer, please review the descriptions and individual costs below. When you are ready click the Register NOW button which will lead you to the Sign Up/Login page to begin the process. NOTE: Ages are based on the Age Chart which reflects the age your child will be August 31st.

NOTICE: 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports organizations are now charged hourly for the use of Salem-Keizer Public Schools' facilities and sports fields. For this reason, it was deemed necessary to raise Sprague LL fees by $10 for Spring 2025 Baseball.

Ages: 4 - 6

Minor A - Coach/Machine Baseball - Spring 2025

Minor A is more advanced than Tee Ball and geared towards players who are league age six to seven who have completed at least one year of Tee Ball. Players should demonstrate some skills at throwing, fielding, and hitting a ball off a Tee. This division utilizes combinations of either coach/machine pitch or hitting off a Tee. This division does not utilize players pitching from the mound. Players may be moved up to Minor AA or down to Tee Ball at the evaluation and discretion of the division Player Agent.

Minor AAA - Player Pitch Baseball - Spring 2025

Minor AAA is more advanced than Minor AA and geared towards players who are league age eight to eleven who have completed at least one year of Minor AA. Players should demonstrate skills at throwing, fielding, and hitting a ball. Players who want to play in the AAA Division must attend a tryout session for evaluation and consideration for a AAA Team. Players may be moved up to the Majors Division if drafted or may be moved down to Minor AA at the evaluation and discretion of the division Player Agent.

Major Little League® Baseball - Spring 2025

Majors division is more advanced than AAA. Players who are league age ten to twelve are eligible to be selected to a Majors team for the regular season. All players desiring to play in the Majors Division must attend a tryout evaluation to be eligible for selection. Once a player has played a season on a Majors division team, they are no longer eligible to play in the Minor division. Eligible players who have not previously been selected and played on a Majors team and are not drafted will be moved down to Minors and may be placed in the appropriate level at the evaluation and discretion of the division Player Agent.

Intermediate 50/70 Baseball - Spring 2025

Intermediate 50/70 is for league age eleven to thirteen and is played on a 70' diamond (as opposed to 60' for Majors and 90' for Juniors/Seniors) and is played with the pitching rubber at 50' away from Home plate. This is a great division for 13-year old's who want a transition year before playing on a 90' diamond or for younger players who want a chance to "jump up" a level and play a more advanced game. Depending on the number of players signed up for Intermediates, it will either be a draft or players will simply be placed on a team.

Senior Little League Baseball - Spring 2025

Seniors is for players league age thirteen to sixteen and is played on a 90' diamond. This Division is the highest age level for Little League. For some, it's a chance to continue playing baseball at both the high school level and Little League level. Depending on the number of players signed up for Seniors, it will either be a draft or players will simply be placed on a team. If there are not enough players to form a complete team from our league, every effort will be made to provide the player an opportunity to become part of a team within the area (District).
